Mars into Sagittarius

Speak Your Mind — Get Heard!

On October 27-28, Mars the planet of action and passion moves into fiery Sagittarius for a sojourn until December 7, 2010.

The Fire energy holds no grudges — it speaks its mind and moves on!

Suddenly, all bets are off and what had been kept firmly under wraps, stored away in private places and hidden by Mars in Scorpio will come flashing out in the open. Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter, has a wonderful directness and enthusiasm about it. It is ever the sunny optimist. It encourages, it motivates, and it boosts our morale. It is also known for speaking its mind and is possibly the most honest sign of the zodiac. Discretion and tact are not Sagittarian virtues!

Action-oriented Mars gets a tremendous boost with all this inspirational energy and turns into a crusading fireball. Be prepared for things to get noisy over the coming weeks as strong opinions get voiced and heated discussions take place. However, there will be no lingering bad feelings or bitterness left, regardless of how strong the storm blows. The Fire energy holds no grudges — it speaks its mind and moves on!

The time is right to inject more adventure into your life, double up on your sports and exercise regimes. This is the time to start thinking of the coming holidays and decide how to best spend your money — wisely. This is also the time to start dreaming and planning for your next escape and getaway!

But, most importantly — this is the time to speak your mind and be truthful!

Mars in Sagittarius will give you the courage to get your ideas and comments aired to a wider audience than usual. This is not the time to whisper your plans, dreams and ideas hesitantly in a loved one’s ears — this is the time to get out your megaphone and shout it from the rooftops! At least, you will be assured that you will get heard where it matters most. The forces of the cosmos are with you!

a pleasant boost!

AUGUST FORECAST
by our friends the Astrology.com Team

After the cosmic squall of the final days of July, and early August, the fiery, sociable Leo Sun will fly along happily for three weeks with only a minor undermining dip from a Neptune opposition before it exits.

“Exploring the unconscious, tapping into your depths, and finding inspiration in strange places is the gift…”

Jupiter in Aries will raise confidence, energy and enthusiasm, possibly even to unrealistic levels on the 3rd and 4th as it meets a powerful square from Pluto, and a reckless opposition to Mars. Be careful of over confidence, since Jupiter-Pluto combination can give rise to a might-makes-right attitude and Mars-Jupiter can sometimes be a reckless gambler. But for most, it’ll just be a pleasant boost.

Venus flits into tactful, elegant overcrowded Libra as well from the August 7. This will have a bumpy start when nothing emotional will be that settled as Venus opposes Uranus, is conjunct Saturn, opposes Jupiter and squares Pluto all within the space of three days. So romance will blow hot, cold, be on and off and back on again. Then Venus will find a more amiable level and spread its’ gentle happiness around for the rest of the month. The Leo New Moon on the 10th is a time of new beginnings with the sexy, seductive Venus Pluto aspect helping it along.

Around mid-month, Uranus retrogrades into Pisces for its last and final few months in this sign sticking around in emotional, creative Pisces till early March next year. Exploring the unconscious, tapping into your depths, and finding inspiration in strange places is the gift of Uranus here.

A rather stern Saturn in Libra opposes Jupiter on August 16, hinting that plans and wild enthusiasms need to be grounded in common sense. This is especially true this month since Saturn then moves onto an austere square to Pluto on the 21st, which is always an indicator of tough times, cutbacks, definitely not a time for frivolities and indulgences. Perseverance pays off when Saturn Pluto aspects are around though with the Sun opposing Neptune on the 20th there’ll also be low energy and muddles.

The Sun then moves from Leo into sensible, hard-working Virgo on the 23rd for four weeks getting everyone back into a more practical rhythm. The Full Moon on August gets a get-it-all-together trine from Pluto on the 26th. A Sun trine Pluto suggests that certain recent problems will be overcome to put you firmly back in the driving seat again.

Playing It Cool

On July 29, Mars moves into Libra for a brief but potent stay until September 14. It is being said in the astrology world that this is going to be period of revolutionary changes. These changes may be personal, relationship-oriented, or community-based, it may affect nations and even have global significance, but whatever is about to occur will probably be rather memorable or one for the history books.

Mars moves into Libra and promptly runs into a highly strung, rather disruptive, not to say explosive opposition to Uranus on July 30 and a teeth-gritting, impatient, accident prone conjunction to Saturn on July 31. Tempers will flare, plans will get chopped and change with everyone going in opposite directions.

The mood out in the world will be insecure. Playing it cool will be crucial. However tempting it might be, this is not the time to over-react to provocation. If you are confident within yourself, whatever is happening around you will just bounce off. Focus your energy on what can be done right away. Also, be aware that Mars in Libra gets especially annoyed about unfairness and injustice. So if feel you are being treated unfairly or see others in that position, you’ll be out there arguing the case to right the wrongs.

Once we survive the early days of August, we will be asked to arrive at decisions by being objective, balanced and listening to both sides of an argument before making judgements. Mars can be rather brash and tactless but it mellows in Libra to become co-operative and more refined. So there’ll be a greater understanding of the need for compromise to keep relationships running along smoothly. Resolutions and solutions should be arrived at through diplomacy and communication. Be assertive but not aggressive.

Prepare for a Shake Up!

On July 11-12, the New Moon in Cancer is also a powerful total Solar Eclipse and it will make for at time of heightened awareness for all of us.

Although, this eclipse is total, it will not be seen by many people since its pathway lies over the South Pacific Ocean and will be visible only in places like Cook Islands, Easter Island and several isolated atolls. However, it is predicted to have very intense, interesting as well as profound energies that will impact all of us!

During a solar eclipse, the Moon is positioned in between the Sun and Earth, cutting off the light of the Sun. A solar eclipse always occurs during a New Moon and is considered to denote the start or beginning of something new in our lives. Eclipses challenge us to develop our lives in some way. We can turn our backs on the hints from the universe, but that usually means in a few day’s or week’s time we may end up having to make changes which are forced on us.

This solar eclipse New Moon in Cancer makes aspects to Neptune and to Mars, just as Mars begins to close in on Saturn in the last decant of Virgo. Saturn itself is less than a degree away from its entrance into Libra, where it will form an almost perfect square with Pluto, and where we will experience the most potent expression yet of its ongoing opposition to Uranus.

This particular eclipse is in a series that we have experienced before in 1991-1992, so if we look back to those years, we may get a hint of what needs to be given a shakeup in our lives. It may bring to a successful conclusion a situation which has been bothering some of us for a while. Don’t worry if initially things seem worse, since you’ll then turn a corner into better times ahead.

What is vital is that we get our heads and our hearts together and really focus. A solar eclipse occurs when the Sun and the Moon are together as seen from Earth in an especially sensitive zone. So we need to have our yin and yang in balance. What we want needs to be in alliance with what we should be doing. If we can focus, and act from our core center using all our energies, then the results will follow.

As a general rule, we feel the impact of eclipses in the areas that are governed by the sign or sector of the zodiac that the eclipse occurs in. This solar eclipse is in Cancer so all things Cancerian will be in focus. On a personal level, solar eclipses can have a major impact, if it occurs in conjunction with one of our natal planets. So be especially careful if your Sun sign, Moon sign or Ascendant is in Cancer. Where the eclipse falls in the chart is significant, as the energies expressed by its house placement will show the areas of life that are affected by the new beginning that is implied.

Think Before Acting

Uranus, the planet of rebellion, turns retrograde on July 5.

Uranus is the oddball of the solar system. For starters, it rolls along its side — on its equator — instead of spinning upright in its orbit the way planets typically do. Uranus is also in retrograde for more than half of the year. This means it is only direct for two weeks, and is retrograde for about five months out of every Earth year.

Astrologically, Uranus liberates you from the shackles of convention and applies pressure to change whatever is stagnant in your life. Uranus rules electromagnetic energy and is like a lightning storm that creates chaos as it cleans the air, revealing a fresh new world once the storm has cleared.

This year, Uranus goes retrograde in Aries, and heads back into Pisces in August in its retrograde motion. Uranus can be reckless, especially in fiery Aries and can be too aloof and impervious and inconsiderate about other people’s opinions and needs. There is always a risk with Uranus that you can turn everything upside down and then throw the baby out with the bathwater. So be careful and think before you speak or act. In addition, be prepared for your forward movement to suddenly stop or be put on hold for a little while.

Do not despair! Sometimes it is better to take a step back and really think about what your next steps ought to be. Take the chance to review and refine your plans with a more detached outlook. This is your opportunity to go inwards, ask your unconscious or your creative muse for guidance. You may lose some of that rebellious spirit which surfaced in late May. But now you have a chance to put more strategy in place. By next March, when Uranus moves firmly into Aries to stay for seven years, you’ll be prepared to really follow your passion and not be deflected.

To know exactly what to expect, review the placement of Uranus in your birth chart. If Uranus is direct in a chart, intuitive and inventive impulses flow on a regular basis. However, when Uranus is retrograde in a birth chart, rebellious urges tend to bottle up and then burst forth, seemingly out of nowhere. A retrograde period seems to reawaken freedom urges within individuals, causing them to suddenly and unconsciously rebel against any ruts or confinement in life. Is Uranus retrograde in your birth chart? Should you be on guard against your own rebellious tendencies in the following months to come?

June’s Planetary Event & FM Lunar Eclipse

This Saturday, 26 June, is a very powerful time window – there is a full moon-lunar eclipse while 7 planets align in a GRAND CROSS!

Message from the Pleiadian-Sirian Councils of Light: ‘Dear Earth beings, we encourage you to TAKE TIME OUT on this one day. Understanding that this very planetary alignment, combined with the lunar eclipse, so soon after your Solstice – this is an opportunity, one such as Harmonic Convergence was – in which, if you are in a state of love and connection and unity consciousness – if you succeed in this, it is planted forever – not only on your Earth planet and in this density , but through all dimensions. You will be seeding joy and bliss and harmony throughout your galaxy and universe!’

I was inspired to ask my guides about the 26th June 2012 after reading Werner Johannes Neuner’s de-coding of the Wilton Windmill Crop Circle of June 22nd. He proposes that the sun is uniting 2 poles on this day – and a ‘new, corrected reality’ can be initiated at this time if enough of us move into love and balance. Solara An-Ra, Warrior of the Light

On June 26, we have a powerful Full Moon Lunar Eclipse with the Sun in Cancer and the Moon exactly opposite in Capricorn. Eclipses come twice a year, and they always come in pairs – a lunar eclipse followed by a solar eclipse – a fortnight later. The corresponding solar eclipse falls on July 11. This partial lunar eclipse will be visible over Western US and Canada, Alaska, Antarctica, Australia, the Middle East and East Asia.

Once upon a time, eclipses were feared as harbingers of doom but today they are recognized as important staging points in our path of personal development when – if you choose – we can become more fully yourselves. Eclipses, however, have proven to coincide with difficult events in the outside world as well.

During a solar eclipse, the Moon is positioned in between the Sun and Earth, cutting of the light of the Sun. A solar eclipse always occurs during a new Moon and is considered to denote the start or beginning of something new in our lives. A lunar eclipse, on the other hand, occurs when the Earth is positioned between the Moon and the Sun, cutting off the light of the Sun from the Moon. Lunar eclipses always occur during a full Moon and are supposed to mark the end of something in life.

What a Lunar eclipse requires is that you balance two opposites in your life. For example you need to be a strong individual as well as be compromising in a relationship. You need to be of service to yourself as well as to others. You need to give space in your life to friends as well as to loved ones. You need to protect your own security as well as co-operate over money. You need to pay attention to detail as well as keeping the big picture in mind.

This particular lunar eclipse aligns with other major celestial influences, with seven planets participating and it is going to carry a big punch! The eclipsed Moon will be exactly conjunct with Pluto in Capricorn against a backdrop of a square between Uranus and Pluto, as well as squares with Jupiter and Uranus both in Aries and Saturn in Virgo also in a square alignment forming a Grand Cross in astrology, which is a big event. Jupiter may help to ease the strain, bringing a ray of sunshine and some lucky breaks.

But be prepared – things may get intense and you may get more than one hint about areas in your life that need radical changes. Astrology.com

Venus into Leo: Express Your Feelings!

The cosmos is busy with planetary activity as Venus gets ready to move out of emotionally self-protective Cancer into openly entertaining and fun-loving Leo on June 14 to stay there until July 9.

Leo is the sign of the burning heart and with affectionate, sociable Venus in place it will be a time for romance, fun, frivolity and flamboyant parties. Venus in a Fire sign is never backwards about coming forward to express feelings or fancies. So whatever reservations or shyness has been holding you back will now be swept to one side. There might be a greater willingness for some of us to express our affections more openly as well as take risks in matters of the heart. This transit may also find you in a very generous mood.

Flirtatious Uranus which dislikes restraints of any variety is in an easy trine (120 degrees) to Venus on June 14 as well so who knows what may happen? You certainly won’t feel held back by considerations of what anyone else thinks. In long-term relationships there will be a chance to explore new activities and let a breath of fresh air blow through what has become stale.

Venus then is in trine to Jupiter on June 15, which is sugary sweet and amiable. You’ll want to gloss over difficulties, smooth off rough edges and be positive. by Astrology.com

Mercury's Dance

“Stepping back once in a while to see the broad picture will help, as will making lists so that nothing vital gets forgotten.”

On June 10, Mercury flies effortlessly into its own sign Gemini to stay there until June 25. Be prepared for heady times ahead. Mercury loves to chat, moves around restlessly and has a tendency to scatter its energy and focus. Gemini has the same inclinations -– better at breadth than depth and is known to be the master of multi-tasks.

Be prepared to disengage from minutia, since this is not the time to the time to slog on conscientiously at specialized tasks requiring attention to detail. Everyone will be skimming the surface, running to keep up with themselves and possibly going round in circles at times. Stepping back once in a while to see the broad picture will help, as will making lists so that nothing vital gets forgotten. This is a time to give freedom to your mind since this transit brings about greater mental flexibility and curiosity.

The following day, June 10, will be a day of high enthusiasm and great ideas. Mercury is in an easy sextile (60 degrees) to morale-boosting Jupiter and inventive Uranus. This is the perfect time for the seeds of new plans to be sown and acted on promptly, although you should be prepared to wait until June 12 or later for approval when Mercury squares pernickety Mars in Virgo. There will be differences of opinion and a few hot comments spilling out. But the challenge will force you to sort out what’s workable and what needs thrown to one side as idle dreams.by Astrology.com
