Amazing Water Therapy

When you go to sleep for eight hours, your 100 Trillion cells are screaming for water, when you wake up. If you go have a cup of coffee (the caffeine tightens the tissue reducing circulation) and a donut ( which absorbs any available water and takes it out through the intestines) your 100 Trillion cells are still screaming for water.

Since you ignored your opportunity to hydrate the cells, they start dying at an abnormal rate. This large number of dehydrated, dead cells clog your circulatory system, kidneys and liver. Any food you eat during the day absorbs any available water.

Plus, it takes time to replace the dead cells, so your body is cluttered with dead cell toxins and replacement of new cells cannot be done at the normal rate, so you bloat up with toxins and your body over time is deprived of many of the cells that are needed for optimum function.

You can imagine what happens as this process takes place over time. You become diseased from the toxin accumulation and age sooner from the lost cells. So, it behooves any one who wishes to stay on the air to be a firm user of this wonderful technique.

– Early morning, after you get up from bed, (without even brushing your teeth) drink 1.50 liters of water i.e., 5 to 6 glasses. You may wash your face after.

– Here it is very essential to note that nothing else, neither drinks nor solid food of any sort should be taken within 1 hour before and after drinking these 1.5 liters of water.

– If required, boiled and filtered water may be used for this purpose.

– It can be difficult to drink 1.5 liters of water at one time, but you will get used to it gradually. Sometimes a large straw is helpful.

– Initially, while practicing you may drink four glasses first and to balance two glasses after a gap of two minutes.

– You may find the necessity to urinate 2 to 3 times within an hour, but it will become normal after quite some time.

(Personally, I continue to drink water throughout the day, at least 1 glass every 2 hrs.)

Consuming ordinary drinking water by the right method purifies human body. It renders the colon more effective by forming new fresh blood, known in medical terms as “Haematopaises”

That the mucousal folds of the colon and intestines are activated by this method, is an undisputed fact, just as the theory that new fresh blood is produced by the mucousal fold.

If the colon is cleansed then the nutrients of the food taken several times a day will be absorbed and by the action of the mucousal folds they are turned into fresh blood. The blood is all important in curing ailments and restoring health and for this to occur water should be consumed in a regular pattern.

We all think eating fruits means simply buying fruit, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths.
You will benefit much more, if you know how and when to eat fruit.

Fruits should be taken on an empty stomach and not as dessert after the meal as is often done.
If you eat fruit like that, it will also serve a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

*Let us say you eat two slices of bread … and then a slice of fruit.

As fruit digests faster than bread, the slice of fruit digests quickly and is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but its passage is blocked by the bread which takes longer to digest.
In the meantime the whole meal ferments and turns to acid.
Consequently, when the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil!

So it is better to eat your fruits in an empty stomach or before your meals.
You have heard people complaining:

– every time I eat watermelon I burp

– when I eat durian my stomach bloats up

– when I eat banana I feel like running to the toilet

– maybe I should’ve not had that apple

The fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat! Actually, all this will not arise, if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach.

Graying hair, balding, nervous outbursts, dark circles under the eyes – all these will not happen if you eat fruit on an empty stomach.

It is incorrectly presumed that some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic and will enhance acidity in the stomach. Research however shows that all fruits become alkaline in our body.

Drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans.

Don’t drink juice that has been heated up.

Don’t eat cooked fruits because you don’t get the nutrients at all. You only get the taste.
So stop making durian porridge if you want nutrients. Cooking fruit destroys all the vitamins.

Eating the pulp or whole fruit is far better than drinking the juice as the fiber is good for you.

If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it.

A 3 day “fruit fast” is a very simple and effective way to cleanse and detoxify your body.
Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!
During the “fruit fast” you can eat different fruits at different times, although occasionally mixed fruit salad would also be permissible and more interesting.

If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.

Pisces New Moon

Tuesday, February 24,2009,8:35 PM EST New Moon in Pisces.

Pisces ruled by Neptune is an illuminating and spiritual sign. It is absolutely the best time to place your order with the universe! The Pisces New Moon, a portal to the unconscious, enhances one’s ability to break through in consciousness. By listening to our intuition, we can envision our dreams unfolding and negativity melting away. We have the power to replace whatever has been sapping our joy, like feelings of self doubt, fear, and victimization with creative energy, hope and compassion.

A Time For Love, Romance & Celebration

February, month 2 of the Gregorian year is here, and it brings with it a bundle of celebratory days.

In America we begin with Groundhog Day on the 2nd, where we consult Punxsutawney Phil, the furry marmota rodent, whether to continue bundling up or prepare for the time of transformation into Spring.

The 2nd also marks the Wiccan/Pagan day of Imbolc. Pronounced “IM-bulk” or “EM-bowlk”, this day, which is one of the four greater Sabbats, is known as the Festival of Lights, in honor of the Sun’s return. The land is now slowly thawing and getting ready for Spring.

The Quickening Full Moon on the 9th is also loaded with waves of super strong energy due to the Lunar Eclipse and planetary alignment.

Who was St. Valentine?

Every February, in America, we celebrate St. Valentine’s Day. February 14th is the day when couples make special dinner plans, even renewal of vows is very common, good friends express their feelings to one another and love and romance are pretty much the hot topic for the month… but where does this celebration come from? and why is it dedicated to love?

Personally, I’ve heard many stories about the origin of this day, I did research and here’s what I found…

According to our records there has been more than one Saint Valentine. While the Orthodox Russian Church names seven of them, there is one of them that may be the one connected to the February 14th day -Valentine, a priest in Rome.

Some texts suggest that a representation of Saint Valentine appeared in 1493, in a woodcut portrait of Valentine where the text states that he was a Roman priest martyred during the reign of Claudius II, known as Claudius Gothicus.
He was arrested and imprisoned upon being caught marrying Christian couples and otherwise aiding Christians who were at the time being persecuted by Claudius in Rome. Helping Christians at this time was considered a crime. Claudius took a liking to this prisoner — until Valentinus tried to convert the Emperor — whereupon this priest was condemned to death. He was beaten with clubs and stoned; when that didn’t finish him, he was beheaded outside the Flaminian Gate. Various dates are given for the martyrdom.

In other regions of the world, however, as in the case of some areas in Portugal, France and some South American countries, a celebration similar to this one may be the one falling around July 25th-30th, and may be related to Valentine, a bishop of Interamna (modern Terni).
He was known as always happy. He loved birds and roses. Although the information available doesn’t directly connect him to assisting couples, love or romance, he is still considered patron of affianced couples, happy marriages, love, and beekeepers.

I like the idea of celebrating love every February. It’s a great way to start the year, and then in July I “observe the day” all over again. It’s a great way to kick off the second half of the year.
So on this Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2009 I wish you much love, laughter and only happy things. I wish for you to be surrounded by love, giving and receiving the most magnificent emotion we possess. I wish a veil of warm Loving Light covers the Earth, and us, blessings us with Divine Love. And may we all feel the humanhood in our hearts and elevate together into a stronger bond of global friendship. Let’s celebrate this month, Celebrate the season!

Quickening Full Moon

February 9, 2009 – Leo Moon 9:50 am – Lunar Eclipse 9:38 am

Opposite the Moon, the Sun in Aquarius symbolizes concern for humanity, as a whole, to allow freedom of each individual. With the Moon in Leo, there is a strong urge to express oneself. Leo is the sign of the Sun, so shine! This is a wonderful time to lift out of an ordinary mind set, blending your imagination with a heart-centered urge to seek emotional security through self confidence . True self-esteem is built by developing a calm center and taking responsibility for the energy (negative and positive) you output everyday. The issue at hand is to become a radiant and happier person ultimately for the sake of everyone around us. Celebrate this Full Moon as we write, direct and star in our own life story. Bravo!

The Practice of Gongyo

Gongyo is a japanese word that means “assiduous practice” and refers to a formalized service performed by followers of nearly every Chinese, Korean, and Japanese Buddhist denomination. It is often done once or more times a day and consists of the recitation of a sutra passage or passages, a mantra or matras, or a combination of both. Gongyo can be done at a temple and at home, almost always in front of an object or objects of veneration and accompanied by offerings of light, incense, and food.
