A Word from Abraham-Hicks

A young Palestinian man was found in Israel; he had a bomb strapped to him. And when it detonated, it didn’t detonate properly and he was wounded. But he did not get the triumphant results that he was seeking; he did not blow himself up and the people that were around him. And so he was captured. And when the newsman was asking him, why did you do this? He said, “They killed my friend and I wanted to die.” In other words, it was that simple: “They killed my friend and I wanted to die.” We think that those pure and simple words speak to this (Middle East Crisis) more clearly than all other words that have been spoken. It is that feeling that you’ve done this to me, so I’ll do this to you, then you’ll do this to me, and then I’ll do this to you. And what happens in that is: It just gets bigger and bigger, and bigger. And no one ever wins. There is no triumph that ever comes from any of that.

God Wants You To Know

..that the opposite of a correct statement is a false statement. But the opposite of a profound truth may well be another profound truth.

Niels Bohr said that, and he was right. In fact, there have been few statements in the history of statement-making that were more accurate than that one. So be aware and stay awake! The Law of Opposites sometimes leads you to a Divine Dichotomy.

Two opposing truths can exist simultaneously in the same space. Do not therefore assume that That Which Opposes You is That Which Is Not Good For You. It may be just the reverse.

Neale Donald Walsch

Know What You Want

High-Velocity E-Zine
by James Ray Intn’l

Most people don’t get what they want in life because they don’t know what they want. They may have a vague idea, but they can’t articulate clearly what true success means for them. In fact, when I ask people what they want, nine times out of ten they tell me what they don’t want. They say things like:

* “Well, I don’t want to be broke anymore.”
* “I don’t want all this credit card debt.”
* “I don’t wanna argue with my husband.”
* “I sure don’t wanna be fat.”

Those are good answers to the question, “What don’t you want?” But I’d asked them, “What do you want?”

There’s a big difference between knowing what you don’t want, and knowing what you do want. That distinction is going to be the key to your success.

If you’re thinking about what you don’t want, that’s what will show up in your life. What we think about, we bring about. So if you think consistently about what you don’t want, then that’s what will manifest in your world.

Another thing that people do in response to the question, “What do you want?” is to tell me not what they want, but what they think they can get. This can also limit your results for two reasons. First, it may set your standard very low and put in motion a pattern of negative thinking. Second, it may not be what you really want, so there’s no passion in the dream!

The human spirit will not invest itself in mediocrity, and you need that human spirit to achieve what you want. Your goal should be so exciting that you have butterflies in your stomach! That’s how you unlock the power of the mind and put it to work for you!

I believe in real butter and a big country kitchen where your friends can watch as you cook or help you, laugh and cry with you as we figure out the world, our children, each other, all the while cooking up life, nourishment and love.

Wisdom In Small Pills

There are times when things fail to manifest no matter how hard we try. We grow impatient and push harder and harder only to finally realize that the gates of destiny have been temporarily closed.

At those times, the wise man retreats and surrenders. He knows all his power is of no use when the cosmic architect is working on the divine vision. His faith remains intact but he wastes no energy. And when the architect retires to his chambers, he acts at once for he is always alert, even when he is resting.

Lessons from Eagles

Almost every morning for the past three months I have been watching bald eagles nesting. I have come to see them as great teachers. They, like every other animal, show us the power of living in the moment.

This is what I have learned:

1) When you set about to build your nest, you should always know what you are looking for. Sometimes your accomplishments will be small, sometimes large, sometimes they will simply soften the edges of what you have already accomplished. Every step forward helps you to create a magnificent outcome. Treasure every victory. If you should stumble, take a moment to pause and assess what happened. There is no need to brood over any failed attempt; simply learn the lesson and move on. But you must move on and tend to your future if you expect it to flourish and grow. There will always be something more you can do, some adjustment that you can make. Never stop creating a successful future for yourself or your loved ones.

2) No matter what you do, sometimes the winds just blow. It is up to you to decide how to move forward, and you are never helpless. When you feel that invisible force pushing against you, grab tightly to that which supports and stabilizes you. Your deep belief and faith in what you know to be true can get you through anything that may come your way. But if the winds become too strong and you feel yourself losing balance, simply spread your wings and let go. You cannot know to what heights you can soar unless you are willing to gain a new perspective. It is these winds which may push you farther than you would have reached on your own, or help you to discover what you never knew was always there. Go with the flow and trust that the winds won’t blow forever. Calm will indeed return once more.

3) Everyone needs moments of solitude; to simply sit with yourself, doing nothing but watching the winds blow and the birds fly overhead. There is no shame in taking time to recoup and recharge, regardless of the demands at home – they will be there when you return. You will soon discover an abundance of energy where there was once little.

4) When you need help, ask for it. You must voice your needs until you are acknowledged, even if it is only you who hears. Allow your needs to be heard. As they are revealed, you reclaim your power.

When you open your eyes to the wisdom and teachers all around you, unlimited possibilities can be discovered. Take a moment to reflect upon what is, who you are, and how you want your life to be. Live the life you choose. Test your wings and when you are ready, soar with the eagles higher than you ever dreamed possible.

Expect A Miracle

YES, YOU CAN EXPECT A MIRACLE!
– by June McHardy

What would constitute a miracle in your life? . . . A million dollars? . . A great family vacation? . . A new car? . . A physical healing? . . Someone’s love? . . a 50-pound weight loss? Whatever it is that you consider your miracle, KNOW THAT IT CAN COME TRUE!

This is not necessarily meant to be a religious process, however it does require FAITH. Many people will indeed interpret this to mean faith in God – as I do, while to others it will mean faith in some other supreme being or faith in oneself, faith in the universal forces, or in the quantum field.

Our definition of a miracle is really very simple. We’re not talking about flying through the air or turning rocks into gold. We define a miracle as anything that you have ever previously considered impossible for yourself . . . the key word here being “previously”, because the first prerequisite for the creation of your miracle is to be able to create the mindset where you now know that it is at least a possibility – because anything that you consider impossible CANNOT be manifested. Or, as Henry Ford said, “If you believe you can or if you believe you can’t, you’re right!”

How do you create this miracle? Just follow these simple steps.

(1) KNOW that this miracle is possible. If it has ever been done anywhere and to anyone before know that it is possible for you as well.

(2) BEGIN THINKING about it, dwelling on the joy of accomplishment. Get excited about it, dream about it and WRITE IT DOWN ON PAPER as if it is already happening to you.

(3) MAKE A PLAN OF ACTION with a list of steps that will move you toward your goal. Keep excited and motivated. Don’t let your dream out of your sight and most important of all, don’t let anyone, including yourself, cast any negativity over it. KNOW that you are in the process of creating it.

(4) TAK E A FIRST STEP. There’s always something, however small that we can do to move us forward each day. Once you’ve taken that first step with positive expectancy, miraculously you will start seeing strange and wonderful things happen! Someone you meet accidentally may tell you something important – or you’ll find that you pick up a book on just the right subject – and lots of amazing coincidences start showing up. This is simply the result of the universe marshalling its forces to move you toward your goal. Just be open and aware!

(5) RELAX! keep moving purposely forward each day, knowing that you are on track. Remember that once you have started this process, you are no longer alone in this. Stay open to the signals from your subconscious, from your intuition and from your environment. These are now all working with you to show you the way.

(6) EXPECT YOUR MIRACLE!

Magic Words That Make You Rich

The Power of Magical Words: September 2006
by Sheila Edwards

Do you want to attract excellence, success, happiness, and love
to your life?
If you do, then take a moment to enjoy this new FREE lesson!

A major factor in creating a life you love has to do with the way you speak about your life.

****************
Speak and Attract Life’s Riches
****************

What you say creates what you believe, and what you believe impacts how you behave, the choices you make and the way your life will be.
Learn how to create the life you want by focusing on what you say and how you say it!

Follow these easy steps to change your vibration with words:

– Notice what you say on a daily basis that is causing your life to be more of a struggle.

– Do you refer to situations and experiences as hard, tiring, frustrating, annoying, etc?

Some popular phrases are:

“It is so hard.”
“I am so tired of that happening.”
“I am so frustrated.”
“That is so annoying.”
“This is so unfair.”

STOP using your most popular and favored words and phrases
that are limiting you.

As you put that language in to your daily reality, guess what? You just keep getting more of what you DON’T WANT!
These words and phrases create barricades you impose on your life by the way you talk about things.
Focus on replacing negative limiting words and phrases with affirmative words and phrases, to help switch the flow of your life.

Write statements like the following on your bathroom mirror to get you going for the day:

“It is coming to me easily.”

“I am so excited for all the good that flows my way.”

“That is great.”

“I guess they are doing the best they know how.”

“I accept my life for what it is and am committed to putting forth the effort to change it.”

“I am believing that the best is possible.”

“I am seeing the good in all things.”

“I am seeing more of the good in myself.”

The power of intentional language can change your life, so use it! You will be grateful!
It’s simple, just give it a try!
